FOR AULD LANG SYNE

My favorite you tube version (and there are many) of the old Robert Burns poem:

2 comments:

  1. But pleasures are like poppies spread,
    You sieze the flower, its bloom is shed;
    Or like the snow falls in the river,
    A moment white--then melts for ever;
    - Robert Burns from Tam o' Shanter

  2. Well, the Senate passed a tax increase via the payroll tax (Soc Sec tax increase). They have kicked the can down the road and we will again address the problems with the do nothing congress in 60 days.
    So to the point: Now we have all lost 2=% of our income to more taxes, thats party money, play money, hobbying money. That means approx $4000 is taken out of paycks and less to spend on the ladies.
    Does anyone think the ladies will lower their prices now that we the tax payers (they are a cash biz, no taxes paid) or will they just suffer with less and less clients?
    I personally believe the industry has been dying a slwo death for the past 6 months and this reduction in peoples personal discretionary income hit will put the nail the ladies coffins if they are priced over the 250-300 benchmark. No more $400-600 gougers.
