E-BOOKIN' BILL

I myself have never spent one dollar downloading an iTune. Nor have I ever read a book on a kindle. But that doesn't mean I'm unaware that a significant percentage of music purchasers don't buy cd's anymore - or that avid book readers similarly do not purchase actual hard copies of the books they read.

And so...with a little push from a commenter, I dove into the world of eBookin' last night and within an hour or two of reading and absorbing, had my first 276 page ebook formated and saved complete with a preface, table of contents, and the last 100 entries...all collated under the title "EVERYTHING YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT ESCORTS...But Were Too Erect To Ask!"

It was (and is) just a dry run of course...kind of like taking the first learning step to creating a spiffy ad in photoshop. But I see the light at the end of the tunnel and I know I'll be bursting into a new frontier shortly. 

Internet advisers stress the importance of a good cover but I'm not worried. I think I got that "covered" (couldn't resist) and plan on using one of the thousands of photos I've taken over the years as a full bleed with the title and author's name strategically placed so as to accentuate - rather than cover up - the gorgeous body parts which will no doubt catch the eye of the stiff horn dog interested in the subject. 

Pursuant to this matter, you will notice that when you arrive at the bottom of the first page of this blog, there is no "older posts" button! It took me a lot longer to figure out how to delete that feature than it actually did to format my first eBook as it turns out. Regardless, the bottom line is...you can no longer access the 1300 entries on this blog. And that's because it's going to be for sale as an eBook at a nominal price in the near future.

I know some of y'all are gonna cry foul. But look at it this way: You've been getting all this information free-of-charge for more than 4 years now. And you still will! I have no plans to charge to access this site - just to access the archives. And if and when you do plunk down the few bucks required, the stuff will be organized and collated and thus, will make it much easier to find what you're looking for. 

Reading the first table of contents was actually very satisfying. If nothing else, I think I write decent titles and the stream of hints at what lay inside looked enticing enough for a guy to spring for what a beer would cost at a bar to access the information contained therein.

So to sum up...yes, you'll still be getting your daily dose of douchebaggery from my shit-slinging self. But if you want to go back and check out the old posts? It's gonna cost ya the price of a beer. And I figure within a few months,. I'll have enough money to vacation in Jamaica or Nassau...because as we all know, the LIRR takes you there cheaply!
