SUPER SUNDAY

If there's one thing you can count on at least once a year, it's that Super Sunday is the day to go visit a KMP if you want to be welcomed with open arms. Show up between 6 PM and 10 PM and you'll be the only guy there - unless you're a foreigner who worships that other kind of football and doesn't give a crap about the fucking Superbowl.

But let's say you're a huge fan like most of us and you don't want to miss the game. There's a solution: TIVO the sucker and then watch when you get home. Plus you can fast forward through what is increasingly becoming some of the lamest commercial presentations ever conceived to fill a 3 million dollar 30 second spot. Of course, you'll want to exist in a vacuum as you voyage home from the KMP so hopefully, you won't know the outcome. But still...isn't it better to be in the game rather than watch it - if you get my drift?

Whatever...clearly, I have nothing to say today except I threw my back out last night so I personally need to rest up anyway. If I were a football player, I'd be playing hurt with a shot in the back before kickoff. 

So who am I rooting for tonight? Honestly, I don't give a shit who wins and for 5 bucks, I wouldn't even watch the game if you paid me that 5 bucks! And Beyonce? Yawn! Years ago I had a young girlfriend who worshipped the diva. She sings well...but I can't name one of her songs and she isn't really bootylicious or big up top so what's the big deal (I know...quantity isn't everything...I'm not a ghetto hoochie like that)? 

Well...that's it for today. How's this for a totally worthless post? And now? To some sleep, a heat pack or a hot shower and then a few stops before the big game. May your favorite team win and the game be competitive!
